2005 Uganda Super League champions, Police FC have agreed terms to sign Vipers SC midfielder Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye.

Zaga who had a brief loan stint at Express FC in the closing stages of the 2018-19 season will sign a two-year deal with Abdallah Mubiru coached side.

Zaga rose through the ranks at Kitende and graduated to the Vipers senior team in the 2016/17 season from the St. Mary’s SS Kitende school team But, lack of enough playing time has forced him to look for another club.

Zaga played at the same stage with Allan Okello in Copa Coca Cola but Mike Mutebi’s trust in the youngster saw him become a star at KCCA FC before joining Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 club, Paradou AC on January 21st 2020.

Before completing move to Paradou AC, Okello had trials at Switzerland Premier League outfit, FC Zurich.

The pursuit for sufficient playing time prompted Zaga to opt for a move to Police instead of KCCA who were also pursuing his signature.
