Nigerian Artistes, Omah Lay, Tems Charged, Remanded To Kitalya Prison

The Nigerian trio of Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to court in Makindye on charges of negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious disease. They have been remanded until Wednesday according to Uganda Police Force.
This morning, Nine people were arrested in connection to holding unauthorised concert that was held last night at Ddungu Resort, Munyonyo, Kampala Capital City.

Those arrested include Nigerian artiste, Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, artiste Temilade Openyi alias Tems, Muyiwa Awomiyi (Temilade’s manager),

Benjamin Kabura (organiser), Ivan Ddungu, the manager of the place where the concert was held, and Prim Kasana, the event manager, who contracted Omah Lay to sing.
This afternoon the arrested were paraded before Makindye Magistrates Court and remanded to Kitalya Prison until Wednesday.
