Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has appointed Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic as the Head coach of the Uganda Cranes on a three year renewable contract effective 1st August 2021.

Micho who was sacked by Zambia earlier this month following a disappointing campaign in the COSAFA Cup, returns to coach the Cranes for the second time.

Micho left the role in 2017 after guiding the Cranes back to the AFCON after 40 years.

He takes over from Abdallah Mubiru who has been serving on an interim basis following the sacking of Johnathan McKinstry.

The Serbian tactician has been given mandate to name his backroom staff and will address the media on Tuesday 3rd August 2021.
