Struggling singer, Gerrald Muwonge aka Clever J was offered a chance to resurrect his music career by recording a collabo with Jose Chameleone but turned it down.

In January 2020, Clever J who had turned up to perform at Comedy Store, met mis mentor and cousin, Jose Chameleone for the first time in 10 years.

SB4 media who was at that time trying to resurrect Clever J’s career by asking well wishers to build him a house and studio, requested Jose Chameleone to offer him a collabo. Chameleone accepted and arrangements were done.

According Clever J’s former manager known as MP Jesus, Chameleone called producer Ian Pro at his home and started recording the collabo. Along the way, power went off and Chameleone asked Clever J to reschedule for another day to finish the collabo.

When Chameleone left for his mayoral campaigns, Clever J told MP Jesus that the ‘Bayuda’ singer had flopped and wanted to use him to resurrect musically.

MP Jesus revealed that when Jose Chameleone called Clever J to come and finish the collabo, the ‘Manzi Wa Nani’ hitmaker refused.

During an interview with Sarkozy Farouk, MP Jesus also disclosed that Clever J sold off all the studio equipment well wishers had bought for him and relocated to Luzira where is practicing welding.
