Balinya is making a UPL U-turn after failed stints at Young African in Tanzania and Gor Mahia in Kenya.

He won the UPL golden boot during the 2018/2019 season with 19 goals when he was at Police FC which prompted Young Africans to sign him.

Balinya has also previously featured for Vipers SC, A.S port of Djbouti and Lweza FC.

He becomes KCCA FC’s ninth signing in this transfer window joining Denis Iguma, Brian Aheebwa, Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mugume, Stefano Mazengo Loro, Andrew Samson Kigozi, Dominic Ayella and Bright Anukani.

Mike Mutebi targets an improved 2020/2021 season where they will represent Uganda in the CAF Confederation Cup, after a trophy-less 2019/2020 season.
