Legendary singer, Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone is not happy with longtime nemesis Bobi Wine and his led party National Unity Platform (NUP) after ditching him in favour of Latif Ssebagala for Kampala Lord Mayor seat.

Chameleone who declared his intention to run for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat after being appointed as Democratic party mobiliser in July 2019, crossed to NUP with a section of other DP members on August 14th.

With lack of finances to hold primaries, NUP set up the vetting committee to decide on which members would hold their flag in different electoral positions in the 2021 general elections.

Unfortunately, Chameleone was dumped for allegedly not having proper academic qualifications and NUP handed the flag to Latif Ssebagala.

A determined Jose Chameleone is said to have held an emergency meeting with his campaign committee and they agreed Chameleone should run as an independent candidate.

He believes he has whatever it takes to win the race.
