Independent presidential candidate, John Katumba is over the moon after Facebook verified his page.
The 24 year old, Makerere University student shocked many when he showed up at the nomination day with all the requirements to enter the presidential race.
Among the requirements, he had to pay 20m.
Since nomination, he has been the talk of town and trending on social media.
As it’s been the habit of Ugandans creating Fake pages in other people’s names to gain following, Katumba has been a victim.
Today, Facebook managed to verify his account and the chap is enjoying the following.

This time around the presidential race has attracted eleven candidates aiming to dethrone incumbent Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.
The Electoral Commission confirmed January 14, 2021 as the date for presidential elections.
