Legendary Ragga Muffin, Mad Tiger claims he started Leone Island which now belongs to Jose Chameleone.

Mad Tiger of ‘Obulamu Bwensi Bunyuma Kiro’ hit narrates that in 1998, Jose Chameleone and Shanks Vivid recorded an album.

On that album, they featured Kenyan star, Redsan. Chameleone as a clever guy, he kept contact with Kenyans.

When Ogopa DJs started a studio, they recorded Mama Mia for Jose Chameleone and returned to Uganda with his lover, Grit (Dorotia).

Chameleone and Dorotia

Dorotia rented a house in Muyenga and Chameleone started a home studio. Chameleone had brought Flute Loops (software for making music beats) from Ogopa DJs.

In 2000, Chameleone produced ‘Obulamu Bwensi Bunyuma Kiro’ beat for Mad tiger but delayed to give it to him until Dorotia intervened.

After securing the beat, Mad Tiger paid 70k to True Vine studios – Nakasero owned by a pastor to record his vocals.

Mad Tiger says after dropping Obulamu Bwensi Bunyuma Kiro, Mad Tiger says he formed ‘Leone Island Crew’ but later formed left ‘Tie Crew’.
