Halima Namakula Trashes Talk That Jose Chameleone Kicked Her Out Of Diggy Baur’s Studio

Legendary singer, Halima Namakula has dismissed rumours that Jose Chameleone kicked her out of studios when he had a nasty fight with producer, Diggy Baur.

On July 7th at 4am, Jose Chameleone stormed Diggy Buar’s Sound Cova Records (Sabula Records) in Luwafu-Makindye and thumped a producer.

Baur said Chameleone accused the producer of talking to him while pocketing. In the scuffle, Baur sustained an injury on his arm.

It is rumoured that Chameleone found Halima Namakula recording her latest song titled “Ndikadiwa Nawe” and kicked her out which the ‘Ekimbewo’ hitmaker denies.

“Jose Chameleone did not kick me out of the studio at Sound Cova Records. All that was claimed was false. He respects me so much and if he had done it, I would have been shocked by the act. Otherwise, we are good and he highly respects me”, Halima told Bukedde FM on Saturday.

After the incident, Galabuzi Andrew aka Diggy Baur, Kalega Akram aka Aki, Japian Raymond through their lawyers, Ngobi Ndiko Advocates served Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone Notice of Intention to Sue. They gave him 7 days to pay Shs.50m in damages and issue public apology or face courts of law.

Since then, Baur has been quiet but he vowed to quit music production if Jose Chameleone wins the Kampala Lord Mayor seat in 2021 general elections.
