GONE! Muzamir Mutyaba Quits KCCA FC

KCCA FC has officially confirmed the departure of midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba.

The development was confirmed by the club PRO Moses Magero on Sunday during the weekly club TV show on Sanyuka TV.

Mutyaba who joined the Lugogo outfit from SC Victoria University (now defunct) ends his five year tenure at the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions.

The attacking midfielder has had a successful career at KCCA FC, winning three league titles, two Uganda Cups, Super Cups and the Pilsner Super Eight.

He has also represented the Lugogo outfit at both the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions.

Mutyaba becomes the ninth player to leave exit Lugogo, the others are Sadam Juma, Tom Ikara (Police FC), Jackson Nunda (URA FC), Jamil Malyamungu, Mustafa Kizza (Montreal Impact), Erisa Sekisambu, Eric Ssenjobe (Police FC) and Mike Mutyaba (retired).

The club has also beefed up the squad with Charles Lwanga (SC Villa), Ashraf Mugume (Vipers), Bright Anukani (Proline), Juma Balinya (Gor Mahia), Samson Kigozi (Police FC), Denis Iguma (Free agent), Stefano Mazzengo Loro (Free agent) and Brian Aheebwa (Mbarara City) and Juma Balinya.

By finishing second, KCCA will represent Uganda in the Caf Confederation Cup while Vipers will go for the Champions League next season.
