Government critic, Fred Lumbuye Kajjubi aka Chemical Ali aka Teacher has spoken out for the first time since he was arrested by Turkish authorities on August 2nd.

Days after news of Lumbuye’s arrest, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Henry Oryem Okello told Ugandans that plans were in place to extradite the ‘toxic’ blogger. Ugandans waited patiently to see a guy who has been entertaining them on social media with toxic info being extradited in vain.

Word made rounds that the government extradited him and kept in in Gulu as they gathered evidence to parade him in courts of law.

NUP diehard and Mityana Municipality MP, Zaake Francis flew to Turkey and failed to trace Lumbuye. NUP diehards embarked on fundraising drive to have him set free but they are still unsuccessful.

Last week, Lawyer and Kyadondo East MP, Nkunyingi Muwada who has been trying to locate Lumbuye, finally revealed that ‘Chemical Ali’ is being held in Turkey.
