Egyptian Premier League outfit, Ittihad of Alexandria have completed the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Khalid Aucho from Misr El-Makkasa.
Aucho returned to the Egyptian Premier League last year after joining Misr El-Makkasa from India’s second-tier side Churchill Brothers.
The 27-year-old has impressed with El-Makkasa this season having scored two goals in 21 appearances for the Faiyum-based side across all competitions.
He now becomes Ittihad of Alexandria’s first summer signing as the club looks to strengthen ahead of the new league season.
The midfielder had played for many different African sides at the start of his career, including Tanzania’s Simba SC, Tusker FC, and Gor Mahia in Kenya.
On an international level, Aucho represented the Uganda national team on 38 occasions while making appearances in two Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
