Wasafi TV

Diamond Platnumz owned TV station Wasafi TV has been slapped with a six-month ban. The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority (TCRA) said that the TV station went against the law for broadcasting semi-naked photos of singer Gigy Money while performing at a concert.

Before the concert ended, Wasafi TV management apologized for the clothes that singer Gigy Money had dressed on stage.

The station’s CEO, Nasib Abdul (Diamond) is yet to comment on the issue.

This is not the first time that Wasafi Tv has been banned. It was given one week ban last over alleged immoral broadcasting.

On the other hand, the artiste involved, Gigy Money has also been banned from releasing music and performing for six months.
