Diamond Platnumz keeps solidifying his name and he has just been nominated for the BET Awards, International Act category.

The 31-year-old will be facing off with other renowned artistes like Nigeria’s Burna Boy, who has in the past bagged the BET Award, Aya Nakamura (France), Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (Uk), Wizkid (Nigeria), Young T & Bugsey (Uk) and Youssoupha (France).

This is not the first time Diamond Platnumz is getting nominated for the award, but he is yet to win. His protege Rayvanny won a BET Award in 2017 for the viewer’s choice Best New International Act category, and he said it was all Diamond’s efforts and faith in him that made him win the award.

The 2021 awards will be held on June 28.
