The singer has never responded to criticism of how he treats his estranged ‘fake’ father Mzee Abdul Juma and after the latest reveal, it is clear why this is the case.

According to his grandmother, the mother to his real dad, Diamond is always aware of his real dad but never felt the need to air his personal issues to the public.

In an interview with Tanzania news outlet Bona TV, the mother to Salim Idi N’yange (Diamond’s real dad) said her son always told her that he had an offspring somewhere but the mother had ‘given’ him to another man.

She said she finally got to meet Diamond in 2002 when he paid a visit and he was the exact copyright of his father even the way the singer licks his lips while talking.

The award-winning star’s granny said she lived with Diamond for close to two, three years way before he became a global star.

She also disclosed to have graced some special events in the singer’s life specifically those that involved his children, mentioning the two in South Africa with Zari and Tanasha’s son.

“Mostly they are the children events, those in South Africa and the one in Kenya. He introduced me to the women he has given birth with and tells them ‘This is my grandma, mother to my father,” but just in low tones and we even take pictures,” she said.

Well, this really speaks volumes about the Bongo star and how he has kept issues affecting his family very private, not giving an ear to the criticism.

One person who got tired of the critics is none other than the singer’s mother Mama Dangote who finally disclosed the real father to her precious son.

The mum shared photos of Idi who she claimed to be the biological father of the Wasafi records owner.

Backing up the claim was Diamond’s brother Ricardo Momo who earlier appeared on an interview and confirmed that Abdul was not the singer’s father.

The post attracted more questions than answers as the majority wondered why the information was released now and why it has been kept away from the limelight.
