Deputy Inspector General of Police Major General Paul Lockech is dead.
According to Uganda Police social media, Lokeck passed on from his home this morning..
The IGP with deep sorrow regrets to announce the sudden demise of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Major General Paul Lokech. He passed on from his home this morning.
A detailed statement on the cause of death and burial arrangements will be availed in due course.

The former Commandant of the Uganda Rapid Deployment Capability Centre in Jinja- ascended to the deputy IGP role on December 16, 2020 after he was appointed by President Museveni during a tense electoral season.
He replaced Major General Steven Sabiiti Muzeyi.
