Cindy On Why She Refused To Sing In Dubai, Returns Back Home

Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy is back in the country following an impasse that saw her fail to perform at a show in Dubai over the weekend.

Word made rounds that Cindy refused to perform due to low turn up while the organiser disclosed that her husband, Joel Atiku blocked her from negotiating with him.

The organiser told journalists that he booked the King Herself for three shows and deposited some money but after reaching in Dubai she wanted all her balance before stepping at the show.

The organiser tried to negotiate with her hut her husband blocked him. He claims Cindy left him in debts totaling to 25m as revelers took drinks and left the venue without paying.

However, according to the King Herself, the show organisers ignored terms and conditions and that’s why she refused to perform. She apologised to her fans in Dubai.

My sincere apologies go out to the fans in Dubai. Music is a business for me so if there’s no business there’s no music. When you work with people who keep ignoring the terms and conditions you have no choice than to stand your ground and let them decide. By the grace of God I and my team are back home safe

‘Boom Party’ singer just recently returned back to stage after welcoming bouncing baby girl in January this year.

Cindy and Prynce started secretly dating in 2019. In march 2020, Pynce took the relationship to another level and proposed to Cindy after her successful ‘Boom Party’ concert that took place at Cricket Oval Lugogo.

Prynce who had separated with baby mama, Dollyiantha Phiona Mukasa aka Dolly Bubu, showed seriousness and visited Cindy’s parents in ‘Kukyala’ ceremony that took place in Kampala on May 30th.

On December 5th, Cindy officially introduced Atiku to her family in Serere district, Eastern Uganda.

On December 11, 2021 exchanged vows at at St. Stephen’s Church in Kisugu.

The king Herself is contesting for Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidency. King Saha and Lord Bitemu are also vying for the same seat.
