Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann insisting on a return to Atletico Madrid.
With Barca need to offload Griezmann to ease debt problems, which raises the prospect of a swap for Saul Niguez.
Sport says Atletico don’t see Saul as a starter any more. He’s not the type of midfielder that fits Barca 100 per cent, but would be a decent squad option.
Griezmann is willing to lower his salary to rejoin Atletico Madrid and that would help Barca in negotiations.
Barcelona had hoped Chelsea would sign him but Griezmann seems sure on his destiny.
