Arteta raising £70m for Arsenal with sales in the summer

September 4, 2020

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is raising significant funds by selling players who are not part of his plans.

The Gunners are planning a fire sale, with Lucas Torreira set to be the first to depart, per Corriere dello Sport.

Fiorentina are most likely to secure the player for €25 million in a loan with an obligation to buy deal.

Sokratis is likely to go to Napoli, while Hector Bellerin is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners are also thinking about selling Rob Holding to Newcastle United, while Matteo Guendouzi could also move if the right offer arrives.

Arsenal still want to make incoming moves, and are heavily linked to Houssem Aouar from Lyon and Thomas Partey of Atletico Madrid.
