Arsenal may have to up the ante if they’re to land top target Dusan Vlahovic after Juventus presented a swap deal proposal for the Fiorentina frontman, according to newspaper reports in Italy.

The prolific Serbian marksman, who has been one of the biggest talking points in world football this season, could be up for grabs before the transfer deadline – providing Fiorentina’s £60million valuation is met.

While Arsenal seem prepared to pay that, the Gunners would also have to fork out a significant figure on agents’ fees and wages in order to conclude a deal.

And problematically, Vlahovic does not seem overly keen on moving to north London, blowing the race for his signature wide open.

Atletico Madrid are the only club to have tabled a bid up until this point when the La Liga champions placed an offer last summer – but Vlahovic wasn’t keen.

His patience is now starting to pay off after continuing his scintillating form in front of goal this season, netting 17 times already in Serie A.

According to the front page of La Gazzetta dello Sport , Juventus have decided to make their move for Vlahovic.

The report claims a bid of £30million (€35m) plus Tottenham target Dejan Kulusevski has been sent to La Viola for the 21-year-old goal machine.

Although Juve are struggling for cash, the swap deal matches Fiorentina’s valuation of Vlahovic.

Despite that, it seems unlikely Fiorentina will accept the offer given they would prefer a straight cash transfer.
