Alfa Timez real name, Alfa Kato Jingo Hussein has left Kansanga-based local station, Galaxy FM following three years of service.
Alfa left Jinja-based radio station, Baba FM in April 2022 to replace Emeka ‘The Romantic Mukiga’ on Galaxy FM. Before Baba FM, Alfa Timez had worked on NBS TV.
After landing a gig on Galaxy FM, Alfa was promoted to a post of Brand & Promotions Manager on both radio and TV.
On Sunday, Alfa was the MC at the successful Zzina Carnival at Forest park – Buloba. Today morning, he took to his socials and announced he is leaving Galaxy FM and TV.

Our reliable sources intimated to us that Alfa asked his bosses at Galaxy FM to increase his pay since he was doing two shows; ‘Morning Saga’ on Galaxy FM and Flexx on Galaxy TV.
His request was given a deaf ear. Major media poachers, Next Media group pounced on the opportunity and tabled a big offer which Alfa could not resist. As we speak, Alfa has already signed a contract and soon will start working on Nxt Radio and NBS TV.
All must be not well at Galaxy FM, the station has been losing presenters on a big scale, the likes of Mr. Mosh, Mariat, Dikhanio, Little Joe, Precious Remmie, Emeka, Nalebo, Evelyn MC among others have left the station under unclear circumstances.
